Heightened security measures in place for Taylor Swift concerts in Seattle

Security will be similar to baseball's All-Star Week with additional officers stationed around the clock in the stadium district.

SEATTLE, Wash. – Seattle Police are not just shaking off security measures as over 100,000 Taylor Swift fans are expected to descend on the city for her Eras Tour this weekend.

A police spokesperson tells KOMO that the department is implementing a “comprehensive operational plan to maintain public safety.”

Security will be similar to baseball’s All-Star Week with additional officers stationed around the clock in the stadium district.

Bomb sniffing dogs will also be deployed around the area and police will have a heavy presence inside Lumen Field for the two concerts.
