BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Whatcom Humane Society received another group of stray dogs over the weekend.
They took in nine last week that were all found north of Bellingham near Everson-Goshen Road.
Five more were brought in on Sunday, August 20th, from what the Humane Society calls a new “doodle dump site” near Aldergrove Road in Ferndale.
Animal Control is also working on reports of three other dogs and bystanders are holding on to more doodles they all found in that same area.
A doodle is any dog that’s bred with a poodle.
The Humane Society says all the dogs were found scared, extremely dirty and in need of extensive care.
They are asking anyone with information about where the strays came from to contact them.
