MOSCOW, Idaho – Details about the investigation into the murders of four University of Idaho students have largely been held from the public, and that will continue as a suspect is brought back to face charges.
A Latah County judge has issued an order preventing law enforcement, attorneys, prosecutors or their agents from speaking publicly about any aspect of the case to the media or the public.
KREM-TV reports the order will be in place until there is a verdict in the case, or the judge rescinds it.
The judge issued the decision on Tuesday, January 3rd, after suspect Bryan Kohberger agreed in a Pennsylvania court to willingly be returned to Idaho.
The affidavit for probable cause that lays out the case against Kohberger is still expected to be made public once he is returned and charges are filed in an Idaho court.
