FERNDALE, Wash. – A busy intersection in Ferndale is about to get a bit busier.

The City of Ferndale says there will be a lane closure at the intersection of Vista Drive and Thornton Street on Thursday, May 18th and Friday, May 19th, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Flaggers will be on the scene to direct traffic.

The lane closure will allow crews to install a new sewer line.

Thornton Street is already closed between Vista and Malloy for an improvement project, so if you are heading up the hill in Ferndale, you might want to take another route.
