MARYSVILLE, WA. – (KGMI.com) A Marysville man whom federal prosecutors call a prolific Whatcom and Skagit County drug dealer was sentenced in U.S. District Court on Wednesday, December 6th.
Enoc Martinez Lopez will spend the next eight years in prison for his role as the main supplier of drugs for a local distribution ring.
Acting U.S. Attorney Tessa Gorman says the 28-year-old dealt drugs under the alias “Victor” in areas that have seen an increase in overdose deaths.
Investigators initially saw Martinez Lopez meeting a drug customer and co-defendant at the Silver Reef Casino in April 2022.
He was arrested at his residence in November 2022, where law enforcement seized 11 kilos of fentanyl, five kilos of cocaine, six kilos of meth, a kilo of heroin and over $170,000 in cash.
An investigation revealed that Martinez Lopez was supplying members of the drug ring with as many as 2,000 fentanyl pills at a time.
The prosecuting attorney said the quantity of drugs in Martinez Lopez’s possession was consistent with “cartel-level” sources of supply.
