A former manager of two Skagit County clinics has been sentenced for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her coworkers.
U.S. District Attorney Nick Brown said that 51-year-old Jeanne Ang Rather will spend the next 30 months behind bars after being found guilty of aggravated identity theft and bank fraud charges.
Between 2019 and 2020, Rather stole the personal information of at least ten people who worked under her at two dialysis clinics in Skagit County.
She used the information to open several credit cards.
Rather also used checks from the clinics to steal and deposit money into her personal accounts.
She is now required to pay back over $204,000 stolen from the clinics and her coworkers.
