MAPLE FALLS, WA. – A Maple Falls man is facing a DUI charge after a hit and run incident in Everett on Friday morning, September 29th.
The Washington State Patrol says the man was driving too fast on northbound I-5 and struck the driver side door of a car in the lane next to him.
His car then rolled into the center of the interstate, and he ran away on foot.
The suspect, 33-year-old Jayson Steiner, was later caught and arrested.
He was sent to Providence Medical Center to treat his injuries.
The driver of the car he hit was also injured and taken to a hospital.
Steiner was found to be impaired at the time of the hit and run.
