BLAINE, Wash. – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured after colliding with a car that ran a stop sign in Blaine.
The Washington State Patrol said that the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6th, when the driver of the car failed to stop on Anderson Road.
A motorcycle heading on Blaine Road crashed into the car, sending the rider onto the car’s hood.
The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old Blaine man, was taken to Peacehealth St Joseph Medical Center.
The two occupants of the car were not hurt.
Troopers closed a portion of the road for an hour and a half during their investigation.
