BELLINGHAM, WA – Artists, musicians, pets and more will gather for a busy three days on Bellingham’s waterfront.

The Noisy Waters Mural Festival is Friday, August 18, through Sunday, August 20, and will feature artists from around the world doing live painting and workshops.

Spectators will get to vote on which artists will be commissioned to create large murals for walls downtown.

Saturday will feature the Port of Bellingham’s Wake & Shake Children’s Summer Series at the Peter Paulsen Lawn.

The Humane Society will have an obstacle course set up for you and your pet to traverse.

The Bellingham Traverse Race starts with running, bike and paddling legs starts at noon near Cornwall.

Kulshan Trackside will hold the second annual Acid Ball Psych Rock music festival with a six-band lineup from 4 until 10 Saturday.
