BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom County high school students considering a career in health care have several opportunities this summer to see if it’s right for them.

PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center will be offering its shadowing program starting later this week.

Students 16 years or older will be able to shadow health care professionals and see what a “typical day” in their field of interest is like.

Sessions are this Friday, June 2nd, and on July 26th and August 25th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

They are free and lunch is provided.
