EVERSON, Wash. – East Pole Road has reopened after a nearly month-long closure.
WSDOT said crews finished up work on State Route 544 just west of Noon Road on Monday, September 18.
The closure was due to construction of a new fish-passable culvert at the Unnamed Tributary to Fourmile Creek.
The new culvert will open the tributary up to native species of fish like salmon and trout.
WSDOT is asking drivers to be aware of the active work zone, as crews are still working in the area.
