MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – Mount Vernon Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in a drive-by shooting that left a young man injured.
A police statement says the 22-year-old victim was walking on South Baker Street early on April 10th when he was shot multiple times.
Investigators identified the 17-year-old as a suspect and arrested him on suspicion of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and drive-by shooting on Tuesday, April 18th.
They have also identified a second suspect who is already in custody on an unrelated case.
The man who was shot sustained non-life threatening injuries.
