BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) The Port of Bellingham is seeking public comment on their updated recreation, conservation and public access plan.

The Port updates the plan every six years to remain eligible for state grants.

It will guide the development of the Port’s open spaces, parks and recreational facilities for the public.

Projects identified for potential grant funding in the updated plan include replacing part of the visitor dock in Squalicum Inner Harbor and upgrading facilities at the Little Squalicum Beach.

Community members can offer feedback on the draft through January 22nd, 2024.
