BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Recreational fires are allowed once again within the City of Bellingham.

The city lifted its burn ban as of Monday afternoon, September 18th.

Debris burning, including yard waste, is still prohibited.

Rules for recreational fires are similar to those that apply to unincorporated parts of Whatcom County.

For Bellingham residents, fires cannot exceed 3 feet in diameter and 2 feet in height.
