BELINGHAM, WA. – A registered sex offender is back in custody after being accused of assaulting a person and filming them without their consent.
Bellingham Police say that the suspect invited the victim to his hotel room in spring of 2020.
The victim told investigators that she became extremely intoxicated and fell asleep.
During that time, the suspect is accused of sexually assaulting her and filming the incident without her consent.
She was not aware of the assault or the video until December 2022.
He sent the video to another individual in August, who recognized the victim and contacted police.
The suspect, 29-year-old Nikolous Blaisdell, was taken into custody on Tuesday, October 3rd, while reporting for his weekly sex offender address verification.
He remains at the Whatcom County Jail on $100,000 bail.
