EVERETT, Wash. – Attention all tech-savvy kids.
U.S. Representative Rick Larsen announced Tuesday the launch of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge.
It’s an opportunity for middle and high school students living in the Second Congressional District to use their coding skills to design programs or apps for PCs, Macs, the internet and mobile devices.
Students have until November 1st to register for the competition, and Larsen will announce the winner in December.
Winners get to attend a reception in Washington, D.C. and their app design will be displayed electronically at the U.S. Capitol.
The Second Congressional District includes all of Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties, as well as part of Snohomish County.
