BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A rollover crash on I-5 backed up northbound traffic for miles in Bellingham on Thursday morning, April 13th.

Crews worked to clear the accident after a semi rolled over just south of the Samish Way exit.

All northbound lanes were blocked while tow trucks used cranes to clear the crash and traffic was diverted onto South Samish Way and Old Fairhaven Parkway until the lanes were reopened around 11 a.m.

The cause of the accident is unknown and there is no word on the condition of the driver or if anyone was injured.
