OAK HARBOR, WA. – (KGMI.com) It could cost a bit more to visit the San Juan Islands soon.

KIRO reports that the County is mulling a proposed tourism fee for bikers, drivers and boaters who visit the islands.

The $10 to $15 annual fee would be required for both residents and visitors.

San Juan County is currently taking public opinions both for and against the fee.

Anyone can submit comments to the County through their website or by email at tourism@sanjuanco.com until October 31st.
