SEATTLE, Wash. – Some travelers may not agree, especially if they were flying over the holidays, but SeaTac Airport has been named one of the most on-time airports in the world.

KOMO reports that online flight tracker Cirium found SeaTac is the world’s 8th most punctual airport, and 5th among U.S. airports.

Cirium found that just over 81% of SeaTac’s flights departed on-time in 2022.

Tokyo’s airport was tops with more than 90% of flights leaving on-time.

The top five U.S. airlines for on-time service were Delta, United, Alaska, American and Southwest.
