BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man was shot in the thigh during an argument early Monday, July 3rd.
Bellingham Police responded to reports of a woman arguing with a 21-year-old male at 2 a.m. outside his residence on the 500 block of York Street.
Police Lieutenant Claudia Murphy says the woman fired several rounds from a small, black handgun and one hit the victim in the thigh.
Medics transported him to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center for emergency treatment of a survivable wound.
35-year-old Easter Iosefa of Seattle was arrested for first degree assault, reckless endangerment and malicious mischief third degree.
She remains at the Whatcom County Jail on $250,000 bail.
