SEQUIM, WA. – (KGMI.com) The Mariners might not have made the playoffs, but Washington state will still have some representation at this year’s Fall Classic.

KIRO reports that Sequim-native Pearle Peterson has been chosen to perform the National Anthem in Game 2 of the World Series.

Peterson is a high school senior and is a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula.

She has performed across the country, including at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference.

Game 2 is this Saturday, October 29th, and the anthem is expected to be broadcast around 4:45 pm.
