SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. – Sedro-Woolley High School was evacuated due to an on-line bomb threat Monday afternoon, March 20th.

The Sedro-Woolley Police Department reports one student was identified and detained in connection with the threat.

The school district says all students were moved to the football field after the threat was discovered at about 2:15 p.m.

Students were then released for the day but were not allowed back into the building to retrieve belongings including car keys.

Officers cleared the school and the student was booked into Skagit Juvenile Detention on charges related to making the bomb threat.

The investigation is ongoing and further search warrants will be served.
