BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A suspect wanted in connection with two separate robberies at the same Bellingham bank has been arrested.
Police said that the suspect first robbed the WECU branch in September 2019.
The suspect gave the teller a note demanding cash and threatened them with a gun.
He was able to walk away with $1,500.
In March of 2020, the same suspect was seen on surveillance video entering the same bank and walking away with another $1,500 after passing a note to a teller.
Court documents added that the suspect was seen a day later at a different bank attempting the same scheme but was unsuccessful.
The suspect, 27-year-old Leevi Rosso, was arrested by Bellingham Police on Tuesday, January 17th.
He remains at the Whatcom County Jail on $230,000 bail.
