The Seattle Seahawks got a thrilling win last night to stay in the NFC playoff race.
They beat the Philadelphia Eagles 20-17 on Monday Night Football.
Drew Lock threw a 29-yard go-ahead TD pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 28 seconds left in the game to cap off an epic 92-yard drive.
Lock threw for 208 yards and a touchdown in his second start with Geno Smith out.
Julian Love added two interceptions, including one to seal the game late in the fourth quarter.
The Seahawks snapped a four-game losing streak to improve to 7-7 on the season, while the Eagles lost their fourth straight fall to 10-4.
Seattle is currently tied with three other teams for the final two playoff spots in the NFC.
They’ll be in Tennessee for their next game against the Titans this Sunday.
The Seattle Kraken lost a tough one last night.
They fell to the Dallas Stars 4-3 in overtime.
Dallas held a 2-0 lead after the first period, but Seattle sent it to overtime on a late goal by Eeli Tolvanen with 22 seconds left in regulation.
Thomas Harley scored the winning goal just over two minutes into overtime to give the Stars their third win in four games.
The Kraken now drop to 10-14-9 on the season after losing 10 of their last 12.
They’ll look to rebound tomorrow night against the Kings in Los Angeles.
The Western Washington women’s basketball continued their hot start to the season.
They beat Cal State Bernardino 77-59 last night for their seventh win in the last eight games.
Senior forward Brooke Walling posted 10 points and 14 rebounds with 4 blocks in the win.
It came just days after she reached 1,000 career points against Cal State East Bay on Saturday.
The 9-2 Vikings will continue their extended road trip on Thursday as they play Alaska Anchorage in their first conference game of the season.
Meanwhile, the Vikings’ men’s team beat George Fox 119-105 on Sunday to win their fifth straight game.
They’re averaging 112 points per game over that five-game stretch.
Junior guard Kai Johnson scored a career-high 36 points in the win.
Will Wilson added 28 points and 10 boards, and Jonathan Ned pitched in with 25 points in the dominant offensive display.
They now improve to 9-3 as they gear up for conference play on January 4th after an extended winter break.

The Bellingham boys edged Sehome 57-52 in a cross-town rivalry matchup.
The Sehome girls got revenge with a 63-24 clobbering of the Bayhawks.
The Squalicum boys fell to Burlington-Edison 53-39.
Their girls team also lost to Burlington 53-36 in nearly identical fashion.
And the Mt. Baker boys lost to Oak Harbor 59-44.
