CONCRETE, WA. – (KGMI.com) Three people were injured in a construction zone crash in Skagit County.
The Washington State Patrol says that a car heading through a construction zone on Highway 20 near Rockport struck a jersey barrier last night around 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 22nd.
A second car heading in the opposite direction ended up hitting the first vehicle.
Both passengers in the first car were taken to Harborview Medical Center.
The driver, a 51-year-old Concrete man, was injured and transported to United General Hospital.
WSP believes that he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
All three occupants of the second vehicle were not injured but were taken to United as a precaution.
