BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Washington company is recalling a pair of its frozen vegetables.
Twin City Foods, located in Stanwood, says their frozen Super Sweet Corn and Mixed Vegetables may have been contaminated by listeria.
Both products are sold in Fred Meyer stores.
Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, pregnant women, elderly people or others with weakened immune systems.
The company says it has not received any reports or complaints of illnesses from the frozen foods yet.
Anyone who purchased the affected products can return them for a full refund.
More information, including the specific product numbers, can be found on the FDA’s website.
