BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police are investigating after a man was found dead at the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center.

Lt. Claudia Murphy said that police and fire crews were called after a person was found unresponsive in a bathroom just before 9 PM on Wednesday.

Witnesses said that the man had been in a stall for several hours.

Medics attempted to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s identity and cause of death have not been released.
