BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) No injuries were reported following two drive-by shootings in Bellingham on Sunday, November 26th.

Bellingham Police say a shooting was reported around 6:30 p.m. on McKenzie Avenue, south of the Western Washington University campus.

The suspects fled the area in two vehicles: a white Honda sedan and a dark-colored station wagon.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect vehicles is asked to call 911.

And another drive-by shooting later Sunday ended in an arrest.

Bellingham Police say that shots were fired near a motel on Meridian Street around 8:30 p.m.

While they were interviewing a witness, the suspect went up to officers and confessed to the shooting.

The witness confirmed that the suspect, 29-year-old Roberto Briones IV, had shot at two parked cars.

Officers added that Briones was visibly intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
