BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man is in custody after he fired multiple shots at an apartment complex early Monday, March 20th.

The Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded at 1:45 a.m. to reports of multiple shots fired in the 3400 block of West Mcleod Road.

More shots were fired as the deputies moved into the complex, and they were unsure if they were the target.

Multiple agencies responded including Bellingham Police, State Patrol, Homeland Security and the Sheriff’s SWAT team.

Deputies entered the complex in an armored vehicle and were able to apprehend 27-year-old Jeremy Spotted Bear without incident.

No one was injured.

Spotted Bear faces Reckless Endangerment, Aiming or Discharging Firearms, and Dangerous Weapons charges.
