BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Eat tasty local sandwiches and vote for your favorite with the Spring Sandwich Showdown sponsored by Sustainable Connections.

The non-profit that promotes sustainability in food, housing and more got local restaurants to offer up some of their creations for the contest.

Communications Director Amy Vergillo says they hope to get people to venture into some local spots they have not tried before.

Voting is open through the month of April.
