WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a car collided a Meridian School District bus on West Pole Road Tuesday morning.
The bus driver and two students suffered minor injuries and the driver of the car suffered serious injuries.
Meridian School District said in a statement that the injured driver and students were examined by EMS and were released.
The students, from bus route 3, attended school.
West Pole Road between Old Guide and Aldrich Road was closed for hours but was re-opened around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
The sheriff’s department isn’t releasing any other information as it’s an active investigation.
