BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Whatcom Educational Credit Union has announced the first of their “Shred Day” events happening at two Whatcom County locations.

The event allows both WECU members and the public at large to bring two file-sized boxes or grocery bags of any sensitive documents they would like to have shredded.

The first event is set for Friday, April 14th, at the WECU Community Resource Center in Bellingham from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a second this Saturday, April 15th, at their Ferndale Branch from 9 a.m. to noon.
