BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Four women have filed a lawsuit against a Bellingham-based real estate brokerage, claiming it knew two male agents had drugged and sexually assaulted them.

The women filed the suit against eXp Realty in a California federal court last week.

The Seattle Times reports they allege that the assaults occurred at recruiting events in Las Vegas and California in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

They tell a similar story of having drinks with the men, then blacking out and later finding evidence that they were assaulted.

Several women say they alerted the company, and an attorney for one of the women says eXp is “equally as accountable” as the men named in the suit.

The company’s website shows that its home office is in Bellingham, and that it has offices in 24 countries and more than 86,000 employees.
