BELLINGHAM, WA – (KGMI.com) Western Washington University is hosting their 21st Annual Children’s Literature Conference.
The conference brings four award-winning authors and illustrators to WWU for a day of celebration for children’s and young adult literature.
This year’s conference features David Bowles, E.B. Lewis, Dashka Slater and Jillian Tamaki as speakers.
Presentations from the authors and illustrators, a panel Q and A, autographs and book sales will happen during the conference.
The event takes place Saturday, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at WWU’s Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are on sale for $199 with an early bird special that knocks $50 off available through Jan. 31.
Discounts are available to students, retired teachers, paraprofessionals and WWU employees.
