FAIRHAVEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Fairhaven Chocolate Walk is back for its fourth year to showcase sweets around Whatcom County and Washington state.
On Feb. 8, participants will venture through Fairhaven Village collecting chocolates from 18 different businesses. Treats will be provided by local chocolatiers including Evolve and K’ul Chocolates, as well as out of town chocolatiers like Gig Harbor Candy Company.
An individual ticket is available to all ages for $35 and a VIP ticket is restricted to 21+ individuals. A VIP ticket is a $15 add on and includes champagne, bourbon, cordial and port tastings.
Fairhaven Association executive director Heather Carter mentions that the event is not only a great way to experience new chocolates, but also an opportunity to explore a new shop in Fairhaven Village.
“Being right around Valentine’s Day it’s a great date day, but also something groups of friends can come do,” Carter said. “If [the chocolate walk] something you really want to do don’t hesitate.”
Those interested in purchasing tickets for the Fairhaven Chocolate Walk can do so through the Fairhaven Association’s website.
