BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Civic Stadium will be undergoing renovations of its south grandstand this summer.
Bellingham Parks and Recreation announced that work on the south grandstand is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 17.
People will still be able to access the track and field through the stadium’s entrance at Orleans Street. The north grandstand’s restrooms will remain open and Civic Stadium’s parking lot won’t be affected by construction work. As of June 12, there are no public events planned to be held at Civic Stadium this summer.
Crews will be repairing concrete and ceilings, adding new roofing and waterproofing areas around the south grandstand.
This project is expected to wrap up around mid-October.
