BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department is looking for community feedback as they finalize plans in 2025.

To get the ball rolling, the department is holding two open house meetings to discuss project priorities through 2032 and hear the goals of residents.

The first presentation will occur from 5:30 t0 7:30 p.m. at Cordata Park Pavilion on Feb. 13. The second will take place on Feb. 18 at Fairhaven Park Pavilion from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Those unable to provide feedback at the meetings can take part in an online survey. The department is updating their Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan, a document which determines the course, preservation and growth future parks and recreation systems as the community expands.

Parks and recreation encourages anyone interested in the outdoors and nature activities in Bellingham to fill out the 15-minute survey before Mar. 2.
