BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com)  – The City of Bellingham is looking for help planning their next big springtime event. The Planning and Community Development Department is offering up to three years of funding for top ideas, generated through the city’s lodging tax.

Past events funded through the tax include Northwest Tune-Up, SeaFeast and Bellingham Exit.

The city is specifically searching for experienced event operators and producers with ideas to promote tourism and bring the community together. Applicants are encouraged to bring bold and creative new ideas to the table.

Proposals for the future spring event are due by September 6, with winners announced later in the fall.

If chosen, the winning event will be held for the first time in spring 2026.
