BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The modern-day race legends of Birch Equipment finished the 52nd Ski to Sea race in first place for the fourth year in a row.
With a time of collective time of 5:44:14.5, Birch Equipment took home the bragging rights of finishing the county-wide multisport race.
A bluebird day at the Mt. Baker Ski Area, Birch Equipment kept a lead throughout the race with speedy finishes in the first three legs. Beating the breezy conditions seen on the Road Bike leg, biker Matt Bailey finished that portion of the race with a time of 1:24:56.
Consistently trailing Birch Equipment was Boomer’s Drive-In and Inn at Lynden. Boomer’s Drive-In finished with a collective time of 13:18:30.7, and Inn at Lynden finished with a time of 13:26:01.6.
