BLAINE, WA. – (MyBellinghamNow.com) If you are looking for an opportunity to support local artists, look no further than Blaine.
The Nothern Light reports the Blaine Fine Arts Association will hold a fundraiser at Blaine Middle School next Saturday.
The 27th annual Blaine Arts and Jazz Fundraiser will raise money for the Blaine school district’s 6 through 12 grade music, theater arts and culinary programs.
Blaine Fine Arts treasurer Kim Shea says multiple works of art from students will be on display and auctioned during the event.
There will also be live band and choir music and hors d’oeuvres will be prepared and served by the culinary arts program.
Shea says they expect hundreds of residents to the attend the event that has raised money for the arts for almost 30 years.
The Blaine Arts and Jazz Fundraiser kicks off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 3rd.
