BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Just days before their final day in business, Boundary Bay Brewery is seeking help from the community.

Boundary Bay says someone stole a blue sign that says ‘Bellingham’s Backyard” from their property last Saturday night.

It’s asking anyone who may have seen anything or knows where it could be to help return it home, no questions asked.

It comes as the brewery’s last day will be Tuesday, Sept. 30 after 30 years in business.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that its owners, Ed Bennett and Janet Lightner, are retiring as the building’s lease is due to expire and will be put up for sale by the owner.

Its legacy will remain alive though, with Black Raven Brewery in Woodinville set to continue producing some of its bestselling ales and Walton Beverage will continue to distribute their cans to all its current customers.
