BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bayou on Bay announced on social media that new owners have stepped up to reopen the iconic downtown Bellingham spot for Cajun and Creole cuisine.
Former owner Steve Crosier announced earlier this year that he would retire and close the downtown restaurant for good on March 4.
In the post made on March 26, Bayou on Bay said, “We know how much this place has meant to so many, so we’re excited to share that the legacy will be carried on.”
According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, the “Painter family” has stepped in to take over the establishment and give it a refresh before reopening.
A possible reopening date is unknown at this time.
