BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Fire crews put out a big boat fire at Squalicum Harbor early Sunday, Oct. 27.

The Bellingham Fire Department says a 68-foot fishing boat caught fire at around 1:45 a.m.

Crews quickly put out the fire with handlines and a fireboat. One person was on the boat when the fire began but was able to exit the boat without any injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
