BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Drivers in Bellingham should be aware of some closures planned on I-5 later this week.

WSDOT says the left lane of SB I-5 between Bakerview Road and Sunset Drive will be closed on Thursday, April 17 from 3:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. SB I-5 on-ramps at Northwest Avenue and the Guide Meridian will be closed during that time as well.

The lane and on-ramps closure will allow crews to replace a sign over the freeway.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and to drive slowly in order to keep the road crew safe.
