BRIEF: Officials release identity of person found dead on North Cascades Highway

RAINY PASS, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Medical officials have confirmed the identity of a body found on Highway 20.

The Washington State Patrol says that a WSDOT crewmember found the body on March 20 on the side of the road near mile post 150 after they began seasonal cleaning on the North Cascades Highway.

The Skagit County Coroner’s Office recently identified the person as 52-year-old William Summer.

His cause of death remains under investigation.
