BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Drier weather this week means roadwork is on the menu for I-5.

WSDOT says that overnight maintenance work will shut down the northbound on-ramp from the Guide Meridian next Tuesday, May 19 starting at 9:30 p.m.

Crews are expected to reopen the ramp around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The southbound on-ramp from Samish Way will shut down from 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night until 5 a.m. Thursday.

Daytime travelers on Thursday should prepare for a left lane closure on I-5 SB Thursday. Crews will repair the guardrails between Samish Way and Chuckanut Dr between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m.
