WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Special election day in Whatcom County is just two weeks away.
Over 8,200 ballots were mailed out last week to residents who live in the Meridian School District as a nearly $71 million bond measure to replace the aging Meridian Middle School is back on the ballot.
That measure was also featured on last November’s ballot, but it didn’t reach the 60% majority needed to pass.
Ballots are due in a drop box or must be postmarked by April 22 in order to count.
