BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – No one was seriously injured last week after police say a minor caused a crash on the Guide in a stolen car.
Bellingham Police spokesperson Megan Peters says three cars were involved in the wreck on Thursday, Nov. 14.
Peters says the juvenile—who has cognitive disabilities—slipped out of their home and swiped the car without family members noticing.
The family quickly discovered the child and car were missing, then called 911. By the time the call was made, the accident had already occurred.
Peters says one person in the crash was sent to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center as a precaution after reporting some pain.
