SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Fire crews are working to contain a wildfire in Skagit County.
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources says the fire is 60% contained after breaking out Saturday afternoon near the town of Lyman.
The wildfire is estimated to have burned about 20 acres so far. Crews were dispatched on the ground and in the air to fight the fire.
Overnight rain and cooler temperatures Sunday helped the fire from spreading.
