EDISON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – One person was hospitalized following a crash in Skagit County.
The Washington State Patrol says that a car was heading west on Bow Hill Road on Tuesday night, Oct. 8 when it approached the State Route 11 intersection.
The driver failed to yield for a car heading north on SR 11 and was struck. The 65-year-old driver who did not properly yield was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
In the other vehicle, the teen driver and their child passenger were not injured. Both of them were wearing their seatbelts.
The State Patrol adds that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
